Laos to Chiang Rai Adventure, 9 Days
This 9-day journey links Laos with northern Thailand, following a route through Vientiane, Vang Vieng, Luang Prabang, Oudomxay, Pakbeng, and Huay Xai before crossing into Chiang Rai. Travel by express train, boat, and road as the trip moves from the capital to river towns, mountain scenery, and UNESCO-listed Luang Prabang. The programme includes visits to well-known temples and monuments in Vientiane, the limestone landscapes around Vang Vieng, the Pak Ou Caves, Kuang Si Waterfall, and the Mekong River section between Pakbeng and Huay Xai. It also includes time in Ban Long Lao, a village area near Luang Prabang, and in Muang Xai and Muang La in Oudomxay province, where the route reaches more rural parts of northern Laos before continuing toward the border.
