This 9-day journey links Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Nagoya, the Nagano or Yamanashi area, Mount Fuji and Tokyo. It is arranged for small groups and includes 8 nights in 3-star hotels, daily breakfasts, guided sightseeing and city-to-city travel by coach. The route combines major cultural stops with time on the road between cities. In Nara, see Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple, then continue through Kyoto, where the itinerary includes Fushimi Inari Shrine and Kinkaku-ji. The journey also reaches the Nagoya area, Nagano or Yamanashi, the Mount Fuji region and Tokyo, giving a clear overland cross-section of Japan. Airport transfers are not included. Check-in time in Japan is after 3 pm.

    Arrive at Kansai International Airport and transfer to the hotel using the directions provided. Check-in is available after 3 pm. Overnight in Osaka.

    Nara sightseeing

    Travel by road to Nara for a half-day visit to Nara Park, Todai-ji Temple and Kasuga Taisha before returning to Osaka for the night.
