This 12-day journey connects Cairo, the Nile Valley, Aswan and Hurghada in one route through Egypt’s best-known archaeological sites and river scenery. Begin in Cairo with time at Giza’s pyramids and the Egyptian Museum, then continue south to Luxor for the temples on both banks of the Nile. From there, travel by Nile cruise through Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan, with a visit to Philae on Agilkia Island and an optional excursion to Abu Simbel.
